Eighty-five years of Live music and calculation

My colleague, Library of Congress blog just waxed eloquent Coolidge Auditorium storied history.I have seen some major programs that conferencing on stage, even though I've gravitated jazz programs, such as Cecil Taylor and James Carter, Mingus Big Band and John Zorn Masada you memorable evenings, also I spent listening to country legend Dolly Parton and group will be conducting the Harry Partch Newband, instruments, f. w. Murnau silent classic Last Laugh screening. earlier this year, I heard a wonderful performance Tracy Chapman and Alan Bergman, ASCAP, celebration and of course, had this name Sir Paul McCartney gentleman.


Musical experience, which may or may not be the Coolidge Auditorium was the variety is, and as the 2010-2011 Concert Season shows, this year is no exception. Highlights are:
